Tiffany is a trusted legal advisor who is driven by helping transform her clients’ ideas into reality. With over 20 years of experience, her practice focuses on corporate law. Her experience enables her to conceive and develop commercial transactions with tax structures that are both commercially viable and efficient. Her broad experience includes handling corporate advisory work and a wide variety of transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, initial offerings for both publicly and privately traded equity funds and purchase agreements for real property. She has represented individuals and companies – both foreign and domestic – on inbound and outbound transactions. She also advises individuals on a variety of tax matters ranging from compliance to structuring.
As an advisor, Tiffany takes pride in providing guidance in a holistic manner and through a commercial lens. She understands that each relationship and transaction involves give and take and her objective is to shepherd her clients through risks worth taking to achieve their goals. Tiffany has advised all types of businesses and industries, including in the retail, hospitality, creative, digital and consulting industries. For most of her clients, Tiffany serves as external general counsel who guides her clients on a wide range of issues, including strategic alliances, internal company management and operations and transactions.
Prior to Heah Bar-Nissim, Tiffany worked at boutique international transaction and tax law firm in Los Angeles. Prior to that, she worked as a corporate attorney in Malaysia for eight years – three of which were spent at a Baker & McKenzie affiliate. Tiffany went to law school at King’s College London and obtained her LL.B.. She worked for several years as a corporate attorney before moving to the United States and pursuing her LL.M. at the University of Southern California.
